Professor Michael Goodsite
Professor Michael Evan Goodsite is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Energy Futures) and Director of the Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources (ISER) at the University of Adelaide. He is a Professor of civil and environmental engineering and interim Research Director of the Copper for Tomorrow CRC Bid. His own research is focused on sustainably attaining the materials needed to modernise our energy system. His role at the University of Adelaide is to consolidate the University’s position in renewable energy technologies and sustainability, and to help position the University for a leadership role as the state of South Australia and the nation transition to a different energy future. He is a chartered engineer and engineering executive and serves on a number of boards, including on the advisory boards of two companies in the Australian mining sector.
