Richard Laufmann is a founding director of ASX-listed Rex Minerals, and was appointed CE & MD in April 2015. He is a mining engineer (WASM) and has broad experience in the resources sector.

Prior to joining Rex, Richard was CEO of ASX-listed Indophil Resources which had one of the world’s largest undeveloped copper projects (Tampakan, Philippines). Prior to that, he was CEO of ASX-listed Ballarat Goldfields.

Previously, Richard was the GM of Gold for Western Mining Corporation (WMC). As GM St Ives, he was responsible for the innovative development of the highly successful heap leach project.
