The Vertiv™ SmartCabinet 2M data center in a box is available in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. Born out of demand from customers looking for smaller, more eco-friendly micro data centers, Vertiv™ presents the new Vertiv™ SmartCabinet 2M. This data center in a box leverages Vertiv’s original self-contained SmartCabinet strategy in a compact, easily installed package, but with less capacity, shorter rack and less depth. Suitable for a range of industries, including warehousing, education, government, and retail, the Vertiv SmartCabinet 2M is a compact edge solution with 17U usable IT space (*19RU IT Space is available when the UPS External Battery Pack is not required), integrated with 1.5KW inbuilt cooling, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), power distribution unit (PDU), locking door and access alarm. Leveraging our latest micro data center allows organizations to rest easy with the ability to store their most sensitive data on the ground, where they can see it. Security features have also been improved in this new model with rights-based access and control, and optional on-site intrusion prevention and detection via video surveillance.
