The Collaboration Laboratories (Co-Labs) are a new feature of our Austmine conference and are interactive sessions which will explore the latest thinking, breakthrough technologies, and the current best practice changing the paradigm of how we operate. These sessions are future-focused and designed to advance our collective thinking and aligned commitment to a sustainable future through exploring new innovations and co-designing roadmaps to transform our industry.
The Co-Labs will be broken down into six breakout sessions, each focusing on a desired future state or goal of our industry, as listed below:
- The Small Footprint Mine
- The Waterless Mine
- The Zero Carbon Mine
- The Waste Free Mine
- The Intelligent Mine
- The Community Mine
The purpose of the Co-Labs is to advance our collective thinking and aligned commitment to a sustainable future through exploring new innovations and co-designing a roadmap to reach each desired future state/ industry goal.
The Co-Labs are interactive sessions which will explore the latest thinking, breakthrough technologies, and the current best practices which are changing the paradigm of how we operate. Through brainstorming with session participants, we will challenge ourselves to explore new ways of mining in order to transform our future.
Each session will be facilitated by an industry leader who will guide discussions, synthesise inputs and help to share key insights at the Transforming Mining Discovery Forum at the closing session of the conference. Post-conference, a paper will be produced to highlight key discoveries and provide a roadmap to move the industry forward.
